This view shows an abstract of the wall and symbol. Select a corner of the wall to measure offset from, and choose and orientation for the symbol here.

A thumbnail sketch of the replacement symbol. If no symbol has been selected, this space will be empty.
The name of the symbol defintion that will be used to replace the selected definitions. If no new symbol has been chosen, this will read "none selected".

The name of the definition of the currently selected symbol(s). If more than one symbol definition is selected, this will say "All selected".
Checking this will replace the symbol definition of all selected symbols with the one that appears to the right of 'new'.
This is the symbol edit dialog. From here you can reposition and reorient symbols, as well as change the definition a symbol refers to.
